I didn't know the source of the Iron Butterfly. If someone could please confirm it for me, I would appreciate it. Of course, with documentation, like citing a song, et similia...

dispute resolved! no worries! until next time! I’ve made my share of youthful mistakes/horrors too.

@ZannaB: If I were you, I would dig deeper into the Fugazi issue... I would start with 13 Songs... they need to be processed, especially if you're not used to their sounds... but once you find the key to understanding, their albums are awesome one after another.

wonderful cover... well-written review as usual that confirms in my eyes what an excellent reviewer you are... I don’t know them... but I don’t think I can handle listening to them for now... I’d go into overflown.

The term originates from a phrase in "Born to be Wild" by Steppenwolf...I confirm.

So the concept has been extensively expressed by Thanatos... or however you want to say it, Sotanhat... that this album is not metal, but that’s open to discussion... just as one could discuss whether or not "Achille's Last Stand" by Zeppelin is metal. The argument is complex, but I think it can be explained like this. Black Sabbath blended blues elements with the hard rock of their time, adding heavy and very dark colors that definitely align with the idea we have of metal today... and just to avoid misunderstandings, we can also consider the lyrics... which, properly speaking, don’t seem to talk about broken hearts, hookups, or anything like that... but are indeed dark... a hallmark of metal and not just that... so, is it a metal album? Let’s say it has elements but isn’t entirely so... and then the riff of "Black Sabbath" is of a monolithic doom... so the rating remains 2... and the album, needless to say, 5...

I quote Ghemison and raise the point by saying that insults are often wasted in reviews where the reviewer’s compositional skills are not even discussed... and obviously excellent reviews are snubbed, which at most receive 4 or 5 comments... more than hypocrisy, dear Ghemison, it seems to me that it's the desire for confrontation at all costs...

Just to respond to you, legendary ALESSIOIRIDE, the one who wrote a review about his band, know that my criticism was solely and exclusively about the double or triple reviews of new albums... If we want to talk about the legendary Iron Maiden or Pink Floyd, I feel it’s not right to have 6 reviews for a historic album written poorly when one or at most two decent ones would suffice to explain the album in question. If you’d like, I will exemplify once again: if The Number Of The Beast is a historic album and someone wants to review it, that’s great, but it doesn’t seem sensible to me, considering that often these are rushed and miserable reviews... here’s another example: if someone wants to write a review of the latest Smashing album, that’s fine, but again, it doesn’t seem sensible to me... considering that, as rightly pointed out by ZannaB, three reviews came out in half a day... If you don’t understand, I’m sorry... maybe it’s because I don’t explain myself well... but please... WASH YOUR MOUTH OUT!!! Because I don’t bother anyone... clear terms, long friendship (?).
See ya!
