I don’t understand. You need to be able to argue about something. Otherwise, keep your mouth shut and move on. If you’re talking about tastes, then it’s different. But:
if you don’t like prog? Fine. Then don’t talk about it as if it’s garbage.
if you don’t like metal? Fine. Then don’t talk about it as if it’s the only evil in music.
if you don’t like Britney Spears?...well...maybe every now and then an exception! But just every now and then!!! :-)

R.E.M. Out Of Time

Of course, I know the difference in terms of sound quality... I play the guitar... but you can't say typical Rickenbacker arpeggio without explaining what the hell a Rickenbacker is, who plays it, and above all, the reader needs to understand... I mean, for me it's one of the funniest nonsense you could have written.
R.E.M. Out Of Time

the most successful album by R.E.M. but in my opinion the best and most genuine remains Monster. this hovers around a 3.5/4... then you have to explain to me what the difference is between a Rickenbacker arpeggio and a Yamaha one!!! if you explain it to me, I'll give you a score... right now it would be a 2!

@N.I.B.II.O I'm still waiting for your review on Bo Diddley... but now I'm really fed up... since you wanted to write it... and you told me about it around 2 months ago... well, I'll give you a week and then I'll write it myself. Regards

I didn't know it was Kubrick's third feature film... I thought it was his first... I confess my ignorance... but honestly, I really enjoyed it... I should rewatch it as well... you, as usual, are soooo knowledgeable! as usual!
