So let's get specific, what are the trends that the Beatles would have taken up? I'm curious.

Kookaboora, are you by any chance a follower of Piero Scaruffi?
"The originality of Led Zeppelin lay in blending various genres, blues, folk, and hard" I completely agree with you, antiFAKE, but that doesn't mean that the composition itself is original.

As for Sgt. Pepper, it’s not even one of my favorites (when it comes to the Beatles), and there's absolutely nothing in it borrowed from Syd Barrett. I repeat, I like Led Zeppelin; in terms of execution, they are majestic, but when it comes to originality in composition, we're not there.

It's a shame that The Piper at the Gates of Dawn was released after Sgt. Pepper, which you hypothesize to be a copy of the Pink Floyd album. I agree with you on the Led Zeppelin AntiFAKE, even though there's no doubt that they did not mention the original authors; this is "copying." And it does not do justice to the Zeppelins.

Well, Led Zeppelin copied various songs without mentioning the original authors ("Stairway to Heaven" and "Whole Lotta Love" being the most notable), yet they are considered like gods. I like Led Zeppelin, but that doesn’t mean I have to praise them to the point of exhaustion. In my opinion, Muse are one of the best bands out there.

Which one do you prefer by Radiohead? Are you talking about the lyrics?
