Robert Wyatt Old Rottenhat
Voto:
A soporific tangle insidiously repetitive.. If I had made it three times longer, it would have been an interesting intonation of futurist noises.. What a shame!
To me, a crude barbarian, Robert Wyatt irritates me; at least, the only album of his I've managed to listen to, the mythological "Rock Bottom," annoys me: it's one of the greatest musical disappointments that still "haunt" me after so many years, alas!
But you are crazy about rap, punk, the Smashing Pumpkins, and Bob Dylan, so I’ll hold on to my perplexity tightly..

But is it the sequel to "Scandalo al Sole" or am I mistaken?

I vividly remember the clay puppet of Marilyn Manson (really poorly made back then..) that sabotaged the lighting rig to crush the Hansons..
I remember even more clearly the (beautiful) episode described here*..
I remember even better how the convicted Ricky Martin addressed "ours" with impeccable brevity before impaling or eviscerating him.. A phrase that in Dante's tongue sounded extremely like this:
"Buffoon in tights!"
Rien ne va plus..
*in which the little men were made a thousand times better.

Having aged rather well and consequently become acidic and cynical, the nostalgic operations don't exactly bring me joy... From adolescence, mostly only the good memories remain, but in reality, being a teenager isn't all that great, unless you're rich and spoiled... The boredom of weekends and provincial summers, along with the typical adolescent anger of those whose families have to struggle to get by, is left out.
Fortunately, in most cases, one grows up and breaks out of the shell...
And you realize that the 883 have always sucked, not just when you grew up... You realize that there has never been any real quality here, and that the situations of lived experience, however familiar and recognizable, are not synonymous with something valuable...
All in all, I believe that especially in the last 40 years, music for teenagers has pretty much always been pathetic: boy bands are pathetic, emo was pathetic, dance is mostly pathetic, nu metal was sad, talent show pop is awful, and trap is an unjustifiable horror... The 883 were no exception, but they did some damage...
One more ball because it’s you, one less ball for 5 balls to all of this are, alas, too many...

Here we are at the Epic Debaseric, understood as a distinct literary genre.
"These buffoons will soon form an invaluable mine of meat to grind in Iraq." It’s epic… Pure, moreover…
The fact that the band’s name is moooolto similar to the Italian "Edema" and the English "Enna" is epic…
Ah, let’s remind everyone, far and wide, of a detail that still emerges: nu metal is more violent and sour than a stomach ache from a shovel-full of spoiled sardines in saor…

I doubt that such a lively and engaging review can aspire to the title of "most useless review on DeBaser."
For your "misfortune" and our good luck, you missed the target.
I bet, among other things, that some DeBaser users would even be capable of reevaluating the genre, the band, and the album, and maybe giving 4 balls to the work.
Claudio Bonivento Marco Pantani - Il Pirata

I remember "Pantani hero in the storm"... That miserable heroism printed on paper that so elevates the average humanity...
I don't judge a person whose journey I don't know in detail, but idolizing, along with money and the desire for fame, has led me to despise competition, races, records: things that pollute sport/play intended as a healthy physical activity...
Better to hike or ride alone...
Those who want to break records should take drugs and use electric bikes, but don't come to bother us anymore with "healthy sporting values"... A load of nonsense from the first to the last word, especially when spoon-fed by the "industry experts"...
A somewhat hasty review, but definitely heartfelt...

I'm just asking if you can give me a spoiler: are there any crushes among the kids or, anyway, "teen" situations?

I've never liked this movie: seeing it as a kid was more than enough for me. Clichés and "constructive feelings" served up so shamelessly that they even irritate children.
But this is true for practically any Disney feature film, likely from "The Rescuers" onward.
The clarity and objectivity of the review are quite commendable, especially since the topic "Disney Classics" may seem like beach umbrella fare, but could surprisingly turn out to be divisive.

In my opinion, you could have done even a little better..
A footnote on anti-Darwinism; a digression on HAARP waves and their surroundings, a more elaborate rant to describe the metal to the ears..
But who am I to throw a ball?
