Excellent review, analytical, precise, heartfelt... However, I think it's important to consider that we are on a site mostly frequented by slackers, novice wannabes, and various kinds of fools; this makes the review feel too "high" and somewhat heavy. I've always believed that it's more difficult, interesting, and challenging to criticize than to praise, and as good as you are, you come off as too sublime, a bit too shocked, a little too "bourgeois"... This, critically speaking, prevents me from giving you the highest rating... But who cares, right?
That said, you’re definitely right: I would avoid a film about MM titled "BLONDE" as a matter of principle...
I also disagree with your judgment on Ana de Armas; from what I’ve seen of her, aside from her looks, she seems rather ordinary... But hey, surely for this role she put in a lot of effort and she's really good... What do you think, have they already let her sniff the Oscar?
Max Pezzali Il mondo insieme a te

I imagine you want to delight us with the catalog of this mass of thoughtless meat. Far be it from me to condemn the sacred freedom to review entire discographies, even if that risks making one feel queasy (Fabio Concato, who for me was a non-entity until a few weeks ago, for some reason is now starting to get on my nerves...). But with this deformed and morbid being, emerging from the swamp of his misfortune thanks to the unfortunate assistance of a musical terrorist like Cecchetto, I think you've missed the mark. The review is dull, mediocre, lacking in flair; it's a lifeless list of embarrassing titles, encyclopedic and completely irrelevant. Show a bit of malice: we're talking about Max Pezzali after all; if he isn't bullied a bit, what's the point of reviewing him? What's the point of showcasing such a disgrace without yielding to the sublime call of creative insult?
Joe Wright Darkest Hour

The film greatly simplifies a situation that was, for contemporaries, extremely complex and almost nightmarish. It is pleasant because it gives a certain impression of what it meant to live in and govern the Empire during that May. The myth exists, and it remains, particularly because glorifying the figure of Churchill and the Albion left alone in the face of the continental Apocalypse makes sense in a perspective, albeit tenuous, of acceptance of Brexit.
Nevertheless, it quite effectively conveys the atmosphere of those confused days, where the myth of the invincible Wehrmacht, which had bent the strongest army in Europe, truly instilled fear. Churchill, like Attlee, was more realistic and cynical than Chamberlain, and he understood (simplifying greatly) three things: that Hitler could not be trusted, that Nazism had to and could be defeated, and that to do so, the help of the United States was needed. As a war man, aggressive, unrestrained, self-referential, and calculating, he managed the situation as it needed to be managed.
I recommend watching it, of course in the original language, if only to gain a certain understanding, and perhaps to spark some curiosity about a pivotal period in world history.

Well, I must say that the paraculistic and tokenistic opening doesn't foreshadow the delightful revelation of an evident series of mental flaws, encapsulated in a youthful anecdote that swings between likability, morbidity, and the unsettling allure of murky morbidity. Unfortunately, however, you then start talking about the film...

Yes, but what the hell is the book about?
Baz Luhrmann Elvis

Luhrman is a big jerk, but he’s a good director for a spectacle. I don’t think I’ll watch this film about the life of Aaron Presley; "This Is Elvis" was enough for me. Projects like this—biographical fiction films—are, in my opinion, a waste of time and money, and above all, they tell stories that don’t reflect the truth; documentaries are better.
And anyway, the actor on the poster doesn’t look like Elvis at all: he looks like a mix between Cristiano Ronaldo and Dua Lipa.
