Well done.. You have done justice to a gigantic band and an album that is too often underestimated and criticized a priori.. Here, one can notice how the essence of Genesis, tied to the great Tony Banks but also to Mike, remains intact despite the abhorrent productions of the eighties, much to the peace of the Gabriel purists.. It's a mature and truly beautiful album, nothing more to say..

Your Travis isn’t worth a finger compared to people like Andy McCulloch, Bill Bruford, the already mentioned Keith Moon, Mike Giles, Jon Hiseman, and hundreds of others. How could good Leonidas have ever imagined that two thousand five hundred years after his feat it would still resonate with such power? Mysteries of history... If you take the film for what it is (entertainment), it can be enjoyable despite the stark slips into involuntary ridiculousness (I’m thinking of the one-liners from this inverted Xerxes)... And since we’re touching on history, I’ll play a bit of the teacher too: it’s obvious that the battle scenes are completely unreliable, as the phalanx was not a static formation, and moreover, no one can expect to use a sarissa (the long spear) as a close-combat weapon... Well, it was just a pour parler, I know... Funny review, nonetheless...

I've said it before and I'll say it again... Blink 182 is a boy band and their genre is chart-topping crap pop. Let's call things by their name: these three assholes are paid millions of dollars to churn out cheesy and ultra-catchy songs for the rolling delight of suckling girls and middle school brats who don't understand a damn thing about music. A new and very profitable system that certain record labels and MTV have found to do what they do best: make mountains of money by tricking those who are easily fooled and who consider this insipid and shameless marketing operation a masterpiece. And furthermore: the review absolutely sucks; the phrase "one of the best drummers on the scene (and whom I consider better than anyone else in the world)" suggests that you probably don't even know what a drummer is...

Movies like these are the only ones Italy can justifiably be proud of, always and anyway. The true masterpieces are the films that stay in the soul forever.. And this one remains..
