I've never liked R.E.M., and they are definitely not "explorers" as you think. This album has very little to offer; I recall Lotus wasn't bad, but the rest is predictable and mediocre as usual, as the singles clearly show. Stipe, as a reviewer, has never convinced me; you indulge in syrupy adjectives, and the mess you made with Tarkus remains unforgivable.

I've never appreciated Latin music, and the way Santana plays the guitar has always come off as irritating to me. I prefer other kinds of virtuosity. Then with the Dean, it’s automatic to put one and one together.. You see..

Well done, Dean! Reviewing horrific records with a remarkable lack of substance, naivety, and incompetence... Given that I find Santatna to be a repetitive and hollow artist, this review makes me want to set the record on fire rather than listen to it... Maybe you should go back to copying...
