You messed up. The movie is stunning, one of my favorites, but bringing up Alien, the Bolshevik submarine, and even Moby Dick seems like a blatant stretch. Here, man is depicted for the first time not as a hunter, but as prey—and not by an alien monster, but by a fish from our world. If anything, one could draw a comparison with the "killer" tanker in Duel, another Spielbergian pillar. I hate the review.

The review is tangled and a bit bouncy, but necessary.. The film is very well done, unsettling and filled with memorable scenes. Although crude and somewhat outdated, the special effects are still captivating and Schwarzy is the perfect killing android..

Dear Roberto, I only know Van Der Graaf until Pawn Hearts (so not much), but honestly, I’ve never felt like digging deeper. Maybe it’s due to Hammill’s vocal feats, or perhaps the fluctuating tones of their music, but they’ve never truly connected with me. I’m not looking for desolation and solitude in music, not at all. I simply said that this album evokes a certain emotion in me. My argument is based on a PURELY PERSONAL level. The same album communicates different feelings to two different people. The VDGG resonate deeply with you, but not with me as much. I neither detest them nor find them bothersome; they just don’t engage me that much.

I kindly ask the esteemed editors to come across this review, as I have a question, or rather, several: Why am I not considered a "trusted user"? What do I need to do? Is there an initiation to undergo? I was thinking that maybe in the future it might be possible for me to perhaps consider writing a possible editorial. Could I? If I could, how would I go about it? Thank you in advance..

Anyway, I mostly agree with you on Van Der Graaf Generator; I find The Least We Can Do... really beautiful, but the others, including Pawn Hearts, after a while give me the feeling of "seen it before".. De gustibus..

It seems to me that comparing King Crimson, Yes, and Genesis risks turning into just a "stylistic exercise." Each of them represents a different and original interpretation of the genre, from the romantic baroque of Genesis to the powerful and overblown sound of Yes, up to the "extreme" experiments of the King, of which this album is a striking example.

You're exaggerating to say that ELP, Yes, Genesis, etc. are "gentina." Career-wise (the one of King Crimson is perhaps the most respectable among the front-line prog bands), each of them is a true authority in the progressive and musical realm in general; they are all interpretations of a unique genre in its diversity. Let's not forget the "second-tier" bands, among which I obviously mention my favorites, Camel :P

Honestly, I don't understand... Who argues otherwise? It seems evident to me that you like the album...
