I was referring to those who judge Bono as a non-singer; it’s an unsustainable consideration, whether they like it or not.

To say that it takes some listening to absorb it seems like a considerable exaggeration to me. In the end, it’s straightforward pop rock, well-played and produced, that’s all. Bono, in my opinion, is a great singer, but that’s it, because aside from that, he is one of the most despicable and annoying Africa-licking philanthropists out there. As a review, it seems rather pointless.

Tasty operation. But if I give it a one without listening to the record, then they’ll insult me for giving it a one without listening to the records?

I thank everyone for the appreciation of the writing. Regarding the group: they are indeed very close to the atmospheres of the Moodies, but personally I prefer them as they are stylistically more coherent and because I think that the Moodies, after "To Our Children...", fell rapidly. I also do not agree with their compositional and instrumental shortcomings, but I do agree that this album is indeed a bit immature and often naive. It would deserve three stars, but I gave it four because "Dark Now My Sky" is truly beautiful.

You’ve stepped up a notch, but only because we’re doing better with the tutoring: you wrote "song" only (so to speak) nine times. For the rest, I hope you’re not a fake, because otherwise it would mean that the world is really a sad place. If you listened to this album in fourth grade and it impacted you so much, one question comes to mind: what the hell kind of childhood did you have?

Excellent review. Of all these, I only know the keyboardist Kit Watkins, who was part of Camel from 1979 to 83/84. There's a reason for that; I've never listened to them anyway, also because my traditional-past-oriented taste keeps me firmly anchored to English prog. Maybe I'll think about it and peek across the ocean...

Beautiful obscene review that tarnishes with a myriad of idiocies (big hits? do you even know what a hit means?) the work of an excellent band that is far from overrated.

I would have included more repetitions in the review. After all, the word "song" only appears 14 times...

I have to say that, among other things, the translations by Mondadori are better, in my opinion, both compared to those by Compton and those by Fanucci. De gustibus.

I agree with Supersoul: I also own the four-volume edition and it is truly well-crafted, featuring essays and very interesting unpublished gems. It goes without saying that it is a narrative work and an Author that are not to be missed.
