Dear Geenoo, I want to tell you that I feel only a pinch of shame, just to be clear. Darius is not entirely wrong.. The photo is tender, a bit pathetic, a bit rhetorical, and it makes me feel a slight sense of shame when I look at it.. It's still a photo that expresses the atmosphere that unfortunately prevailed at that time in Italy. Panapp is right too; if you had avoided the last two paragraphs and the final line, it would have been perfect..

But is that the one where they transport the cargo across a suspension bridge and at some point a gorilla appears too? Or am I confusing it?

I find your review well-written and also interesting. I don't want to comment on the value of the album, but I have an idea that the true author here isn't Michael Jackson, but rather his management, Sony, and the producers who most certainly have played the role of necromancers to instill "new" life into a corpse that has been dead for quite some time. This fills me with a certain disgust as well as profound sadness. I have also read your comments and partially agree with them, but in my opinion, at least when it comes to music, there are operations (not works), like this album or those of Lady Gaga, that are only minimally related to music, and for which art is just a pretext. There may be some liveliness, some amusing intuition, but everything else, which should appear secondary, is actually the essence of the operation, whose purpose is to create phenomena and image. And this has nothing to do with music.

I find the film much more thrilling; seeing a T 59 nailed in front of a slender character in a white shirt truly leaves one speechless.

This album is really nice.. However, honestly, from how you described it, I was expecting something softer and more mellow, but wow, there are some great guitar riffs, sometimes even whirlwind-like, a solid rhythm.. A surprise, and a pleasure for the ears and the mind.. Well done!

"It’s commendable the message she wants to convey through her show, which is to believe in oneself and be happy with who you are." So why the hell does she dress up and paint geometric figures on her face? "I can only give a positive review to the show, even if it lacks improvisation and still gives me the impression of being overly constructed." But no, come on… Constructing a show like that? How does that even come to mind?? Yeah, yeah, there has to be a bit of improvisation, otherwise Poker Face just doesn’t work at all… Please.

This is a really great album: solid, well-played, intriguing.. Indeed, some ideas and riffs aren’t particularly original, but the atmosphere it evokes is nonetheless powerful and structured.. I like it quite a bit, unlike the debut which frankly bores me.. My favorite is Insolent Lady, the ending is stunning.. Well done!

If there's symphony, mellotron, and some jazzy flavor, then I'm totally on board.. I wanted to get it at Fnac, but they were asking frankly for a ton of money, and it wasn't even the double edition with the second album included.. Well, I'll figure something else out.. Oh, good job..
