Among the "no guitar oriented" groups, I also recall the excellent "Greenslade" from their first two albums. If rock without guitars is something else, we are happy, indeed, thrilled to listen to something that goes beyond the usual rock.

I knew her as Knock Nevis and I didn't know she had already been scrapped.. The review is a bit strange and pathetic.. It's possible to be moved by the death of a ship and what it implies (I've done it myself), but here I don't see the reason; just because it was the largest moving object ever built? That seems like a flimsy justification at best.. Not to mention the photo is flat, poor, and not exciting at all..

No damn, you stole my review.. I'm a bit against writings of this kind, which say nothing about the film and remain vague; for me, a bit of criticism is always necessary; but here you were amazing, nothing to say. "La Caduta" is one of the most shocking films I've ever seen, a masterpiece of the absurd, chilling and beautifully shot. I didn't like the ending, which is comforting and inconsistent, because this is a film where hope has no place. I also find the accusations of historical revisionism directed at the director ridiculous and pathetic, for daring to portray a humanized Fuhrer. Nonsense..

Only William Hope Hodgson is missing.. I totally identify, drink aside, with the final situation.. I like to do it even in summer, with the windows open and the whispers of the city filtering in through the curtains..

Sorry Chuck, but if someone doesn't like a genre, it’s not about having an open mind. I simply expressed my taste about a way of singing/expressing oneself that I find almost ridiculous; open-mindedness has nothing to do with it. Some people don't like, I don't know, jazz-prog-fusion, but I wouldn't say they lack an open mind. Anyway, I’ve had friendships and acquaintances in the rap and hip-hop scene in my youth, and unfortunately, I confirmed that these are often people with an inflated ego, affected, constructed, because rap implies a certain style, a way of being. I’m bothered by the masks and costumes, and for me, the style of rappers is a costume, a perpetual act. I reiterate, it’s all a code of IMAGES that I find useless for artistic purposes. You can't equate bell-bottoms with hip-hop style because while bell-bottoms are a fashion, hip-hop, you'll concede, is literally a subculture that presupposes a certain way of speaking, dancing, playing, gesturing, delinquency, etc., and it’s not just a simple trend, but a world apart, which we imported thirty years ago from a different social context, making it doubly distorted and constructed.

Mister Chuck: 1. Open mind for what? For me, it’s neither spoken nor sung, but something that lies between the two and isn’t even well done and is quite annoying. Problems accepting such an opinion? 2. It might be so, but don’t come and tell me that hip hop doesn’t revolve around a set of gestures, postures, grimaces, trinkets, and totally accessory bullshit from a "musical" standpoint that are nonetheless essential as an integral part of that subculture, which a lot of people love to mimic because it’s cool. In the '70s (and I think of progressive, of which I am an admirer), there were long hair, bell-bottom pants, and flashy shirts, but that was the fashion of the time, not a style tied to that world, that life, and the way of understanding it. 3. Bullshit: Fabri Fibra, Articolo 31, Eminem, and the hundreds of delinquent-millionaires that roam the radio or MTV. You’ll say, “Yeah, but those are commercial, sellouts, you can’t name other names because you don’t know shit and only know the most famous ones.” Who cares, they are still clowns. As mentioned in the review, even Fabri Fibra was an angry youth who shot down everything and then transformed into everything he despised. I’m not saying this only happens in hip hop, for heaven's sake, but it still annoys me regardless.

What does "cutting language that sometimes turns into reluctant" mean??.. Rap makes me want to shit, for me it's a parody of both singing and speaking, a subculture that requires circus clothes and ridiculous attitudes.. It may be a sign of discomfort and whateverelseyouwant but it has no credibility whatsoever.. And invariably all these angry folks who spit and inject poison end up having a stratospheric bank account.. Bastards..

A horrible writing about a horrible character that I have never tolerated and in whom I have never believed. A canonical example of the filthy Italian transformism and lately an embarrassing symbol of a well-spread syndrome, that of "culo a ventosa". De Lorenzo, despite being a sordid fake, manages to be as irritating as a nettle pack on the glans. I have known several leftists who, in order to find new ideas, have reevaluated Fini; this is because hypocrisy, incoherence, and opportunism are common practices not only among our politicians but also among their voters.
