IRIDE have you ever listened to a gothic-doom album?

lux, it is obvious that there cannot be just one interpretation. But I believe that for lovers, for those who enjoy and advocate for certain musical movements (and not), these are the words that reflect the underlying ideologies and shared feelings.

but look at that superficial question, reducing everything to stereotypes, well done!... I don’t know the Tinturia, but the review should refer to the atmospheres, the flavors, the colors, to everything that the album manages to evoke; if this is a "terrestrial" album, then a "terrestrial" language is welcome.

if it had used another language, the review wouldn’t have done justice to the album...

I correct the previous message: "both the exterior form and the INTERIOR aspect."

A review is not a work of art, but it should, in its vocabulary, evoke both the outer form and the exterior appearance, the emotional sphere, of the album it is discussing. With his mementomori, he achieves this wonderfully because he imparts poetic charm to every single phrase, word, pairing, juxtaposition, literary reference. The same dark charm that permeates the album and the genre. If you don’t appreciate it, I think it’s hard to say you’ve truly understood the essence of all that has been discussed.

In my opinion, you don't understand it, just as you don't grasp the subject matter of the review (and I'm not just referring to the album, but also to the extramusical references)... otherwise it would be hard not to appreciate it.

I repeat, the subject matter requires this type of language, whether you like it or not, I don’t see where the problem lies... certain music couldn’t be described any better, and mementomori is a top-notch reviewer.

it's not pitying. it'll be the more famous groups that are pitying, which is debatable since we maybe have 3 or 4 well-known bands abroad... shall we start with the list? novembre, soul takers, stormlord, klimt 1918, elvenking, aleph, tystnaden, edenshade, the dogma, hortus animae, rumors of gehenna, domina noctis, the foreshadowing, cadaveria, dark lunacy, and the list goes on. we're not in bad shape, so let's drop the foreign obsession once and for all.

at least you are consistent... but can you explain to me why an audience fond of certain "glories" like Manowar or Rhapsody (who became famous not exactly for the quality of their music) has never managed to appreciate Skylark, who, no matter how cheesy and repetitive they may be, have always done their work with passion and coherence? I believe it's just a sign of the Italian audience's mental closure towards our home bands...
