Funeral From These Wounds

Beautiful review, enriched by a coherent structure and an appropriate vocabulary for the proposition of a notable and underrated band... However, I still have to listen to this album. I hope to remedy that soon...

I've listened to it... There are some aspects that I didn't particularly like and I think they were not well taken care of, but all in all, as an album, it's very good and contains some gems that shouldn't be missed... The fact remains that, for sure, it's not a 5-star work...

The single is "I walk alone"...

I didn't like the way you talked about this album (which, unfortunately, I still have to buy; I'm just waiting to find it in stores): there are too many repetitions and cliché phrases, and the reading is really not smooth at all... The result is that not much is understood about the album if you haven't listened to it yet.

Think about it... I just listened to them last night, since there are some samples on their MySpace, and here you are with a review about them! I also noticed that the sounds are quite muddled, but what didn't convince me was the overall performance of the band: Monika's voice (who, by the way, just left Sirenia due to artistic differences) is too raw, she interprets the songs in a way that isn't much different from one another and I don't find her to be a champion of expressiveness. The instruments seem to follow their own paths without ever finding a common ground... Unfortunately, I haven't listened to the rest, so my judgment is limited to those few tracks, but given these premises, I certainly don't feel like searching for the whole album... Talk to you soon!

Listen, I have responded to your low-level words with actions... I honestly didn't understand this recent turnaround of yours... Okay, there can be misunderstandings (it seems we acknowledged that in our last discussion), but to suddenly come out like this and make up things I didn't do (like offending the reviewer... when did that ever happen?) seems to me to be quite exaggerated...

I would even avoid responding to certain arrogant and pathetic people... As luck would have it, the reviewer himself has understood the intent of my message. On the other hand, I don't know him, and I haven't criticized him or his intentions, but rather his writing, which has little to do with the music of that band (and if I consider certain issues to be "ephemeral," I don't see why I shouldn't express it)... Meanwhile, Alessio, go check my profile on Debaser to see where I stand (I'm not saying this to brag, since I've left this site full of ridiculous people for months; I'm doing it just to help you understand that if I were the person you describe, you might have found more insults than reviews under my name, but as you can see, the facts prove otherwise: I leave the rudeness to those who have it running in their veins), that I'm worth less than a fart, and think about what you demonstrate to be: a simple nickname that enjoys defaming people about whom you imagine who knows what and don't even have the slightest knowledge. Sometimes envy plays nasty tricks. Pathetic...

Sure, how can I not agree with you? ... Because this "review" (which by the way has nothing to do with what this band represents) has obviously changed things... Your words into the wind as well... Come on, save some of that anger and maybe use it to engage in something serious, instead of worrying about people who have nothing in their heads, otherwise you'll end up becoming like them. Am I pretentious Iride? Please... The usual problem with this site: they don't even know you and they dare to judge you... What a disgrace...

Yes, I know them... I’ll try, but your words didn’t give me much confidence :P

@ Vincent Valentine, the "problems" highlighted by the reviewer are quite adolescent and ephemeral, and they are certainly not "fought" with these intentions...
