The 3rd and the Mortal Tears Laid in Earth

A rating lower than 5 for an album of the caliber of "Tears Laid In Earth" should not be considered, in my opinion.

Thank you for the compliments, Fjell. It's a pity that libraries like that don't exist here in Italy... It would be a great opportunity to rediscover our rich classical heritage, as well as the international one.

Draconian Where Lovers Mourn
Voto:
Great review, Fede, despite the repetitive concepts inherent in the first paragraph and some forgotten errors here and there. The analysis of the tracklist is, in my opinion, perfect: you mentioned all the songs I prefer from this album, perhaps even the most significant ones. If I may, I’d like to make a special mention of "The Cry Of Silence," so intense in music and lyrics that it feels almost unbearable from an emotional standpoint: I’m particularly attached to this song and I can never listen to it again without getting emotional. "It Grieves My Heart," on the other hand, has never struck me much. It's a real shame to see Draconian lost in the gothic metal chaos after two excellent albums like "Where Lovers Mourn" and, above all, "Arcane Rain Fell"... Let’s remember them for how they were. Bye Fede, until next time!
Korpiklaani Korven Kuningas

Korpiklaani are NOT great at all; in fact, they are the anti-artists par excellence, precisely for the same reasons mentioned by Bonny91 and for having repeated themselves to the point of boredom from album to album...

I have reconsidered after reading other comments and reviews about this individual... Sorry...

A beautiful album in its atmospheres and heralding an unmatched bravery. Honor where it's due.
