Ulver - Mysticum Ulverytternes Kamp
Voto:
Well written. I don't care about the reviewer's positions; if the Editors decide to ban him, so be it. I don't think it's our place to judge Katharsis as a monster, no matter how abominable what he has written may be. Let him who is without sin cast the first stone... and I see that there are truly many immaculate ones here.
Carcass Heartwork
Voto:
In short, psycroptic... not too much... the only Carcass albums where the themes you mentioned are found are "Heartwork" and "Swansong." All the early works of the English band had decidedly gore lyrics, a genre that doesn’t seem to me to be any more intellectually elevated than the kitschy fantasy of Manowar & co. Kudos to the reviewer, though.

Very good. And I have no doubt that the performance was no less, knowing the genius of the Sicilian in question.
Summoning Oath Bound
Voto:
@Dying Sun: FOLK METAL!!!!???? How could you write such nonsense! It's true that there's little Black Metal in Summoning, but absolutely zero Folk. The production of this band is based on Ambient. "Oath Bound" is much more Ambient than Metal, in every shade. In any case, the production doesn't seem so terrible to me... and on the album, half of the songs are sung by Protector.

Fantastic XD I don't know them, the only one of that kind I've explored is Nortt, but I have to say it has never really captivated me. I'm not going to get into the debate about whether Black or Funeral Doom are genres that should be avoided; I believe there is an abyss between the two genres, even though they are often grouped together. But, de gustibus. I really like Black (especially the more ethereal and dreamy kind), while Funeral Doom doesn't appeal to me at all... precisely because of the total annihilation of the desire to live. If Black communicates strong emotions to me, memories, anger, and everything else, and pushes my imagination to places I'll never reach, Funeral Doom says nothing to me. Total emptiness, death. I really don't like it at all.

Great! A really nice review, for once :) Agghiastru has never really convinced me that much on the musical side, to be honest. Too """""symphonic""""" (with all the quotes in place) for my taste. Anyway, aside from everything, this album is definitely his best work, despite the scandalous artwork.
Paysage d'Hiver Schattengang

I Paysage D'Hiver are beyond discussion, and when an album deserves a 5, it's gladly granted. I confirm what Vincent expressed: too visionary, although surely heartfelt. You can improve!!!
