I don't like how Brie sings, I don't like Petrucci's way of playing, I don't like their style, their music, nothing... The first minute and a few seconds of Metropolis Pt. 1 are a masterpiece, both for Portnoy's fills and for Petrucci's embellishments, but then the vocals start and... I don't like anything anymore.

An artist like few others... I was fortunate enough to learn about Luca's story through his family. A very dear friend of mine was his niece, and it was a sweet and bitter yet important experience to discover this artist not just through records, but also through letters, photos, and other treasures that the Flores family keeps cherished... I would like to share a comment I wrote today on another review present on Deb for this album. Never has the term "album" seemed so reductive to define this work... great, immense, poignant, alive, and infused with a funeral air that strikes every listener... there are no adjectives or paraphrases that truly fit. Listen, inform yourselves.
