Oh, I should add that I know American Idiot, and calling it a masterpiece seems like an understatement; saying it's one of the best of the decade is blasphemy. It's a nice album, maybe.

I'm sorry, but the review seems too casual to me, which isn't necessarily a flaw, but it's also not what I'm looking for in a review. The Green Day seem capable of writing some cool tracks, but overall I find them quite forgettable.

Whether it's a strip or not, I still think that some obvious plagiarism would raise suspicion even in a fool.

I also remember some phrases borrowed from other artists, sometimes simple translations like in the cases of "seppur con te o senza di te non posso vivere" (with or without - U2) or even the title of the song "il mare impetuoso ecc.", freely copied from Piero Ciampi (without obviously crediting him), and in that case, if I’m not mistaken, there was even some legal action from the family of the Livorno poet. There are others, but it’s a bit of a hassle for me to retrieve them all. Simple citations? Pure coincidence? Maybe, I just say that the doubt is at least legitimate, and it does not do credit to Mr. Fornaciari, an artist who, in my opinion, is quite capable overall.

Dear Gustavo, what are you talking about? I've never seen an episode of Striscia in my life. I've heard these rumors online, like many others, so out of curiosity, I went to check and for example, I remember well "Blu" being identical to a track by Michele Pecora (Chicazzè?) and "Diavolo in me" sounding very, very similar to a piece by Cocker, though I can't recall the title. I think it's legitimate to have doubts, whether in court or not. The fact that others periodically copy doesn’t justify either the practice or the author. That said, I like some of the things done by Zucchero, including the allegedly plagiarized pieces (because after all, no one has certainties), and I even have a few of his records at home. However, this doesn’t condemn me to identify for life as the passionate viewer of Striscia (with all due respect for the latter, but I prefer other shows)... goodbye.

On this, there’s nothing to argue, but in reality, the piece itself would be quite nice. In the original version, at least, here it turns out to be a real mess.

Logan, not to say but... Pagani with the song has to do with it because he's the author.

@47: I can only agree on Gilmour, and in fact the last two Gilmour-like works, aside from a few at least decent melodic ideas, I find pointless. Even better is The Final Cut, a controversial album that, whether you like it or not, is definitely a more interesting piece of work.

and as I remembered he said something about Andrea Bocelli too: √ Michele Torpedine attacca Zucchero: 'Basta con le bugie' | News | Rockol - I don't dare say who of the two is right, but I've checked some of the infamous "plagiarisms," and who knows, either he has terrible luck or he actually has something of his own every now and then. On the other hand, he's always been a bit of a jerk, even if his discography features some songs (copied or not) that are pleasant to listen to.

I apologize, not Corrado Rustici, but Michele Torpedine. Heavy statements, although all to be proven. Tgcom - "Zucchero? Prese pezzi di altri"
