Metallica Kill 'em All

Here’s when you said you weren't a metal listener; you should have stopped, thought for a moment, and reconsidered before publishing the review. And then these reviews that aim to denigrate Metallica at all costs, always and anyway, just because it has become trendy in recent years...
The album is, in terms of sound quality, just sufficient; from a musical perspective, raw and unripe; in terms of rhythm, it's a barrage; historically, I believe few albums have had a similar weight in the history of metal. Without it, the "extreme" branch of metal, so well represented especially by Slayer, wouldn't have existed.
Kill 'Em All is not even purely thrash metal (Ride and Master are more so precisely because it's the Metallica defining musical genres in this area), but Speed Thrash!!!

What a review!!! I agree with every word and every judgment you've made. Due to my natural propensity for optimism, I still believe that sooner or later they will come out with something that is at least decent. However, there's no denying that since the Black Album (if we want to talk about a shift in sound towards mainstream) but especially since LOAD/RELOAD (these are really "anti-Metallica") the Metallica have fallen into a vortex from which it might take a divine intervention to escape. :D

A lightning-fast, acidic, and violent album, the first Speed Thrash album that opened an era...

Great review and great album, even though I remain more attached to the previous one, Beneath... nothing to say, Arise is a masterpiece of extreme metal...
Sepultura Beneath The Remains

My favorite album among those of Sepultura, Igro cavalera is impressive in delivering fills with surgical precision and remarkable power, Max is excellent on guitar and with a voice still "human." In my opinion, the last great old school thrash masterpiece...

No Comment on the crap written in the comments, is it possible that there are people unable to have decent and tolerant behavior?...
On the album, a masterpiece, a challenging, highly technical album (despite what some say) perfectly played, and whose tracks (not all, but definitely some) are "memorable."

Well... there were a few minor mistakes... :D it's true that Enter Sandman starts with the guitar... On the album... the last good album by Metallica even though it represents a significant step back compared to the previous ones. The intent of the album was to attract the attention of listeners who were not accustomed to Metallica's music... and this was evident from the record label's decision to have the album produced by Bob Rock (Very famous '80s producer of mainly Pop genre bands and singers: Cher (Pop), Mötley Crüe (Hair Metal also known as Pop Metal, just like Bon Jovi)...
One last consideration:
In 2005, the hostility of early Metallica fans towards Bob Rock's work took the form of an international online petition asking the band to change producers. The request was finally accepted, and Metallica announced that their next album would be produced by Rick Rubin, famous for his collaborations with musicians like Slayer, Red Hot Chili Peppers (So quality music, and knowing Slayer perhaps it will encourage the 'Tallica to return to the good old thrash sound)
And let's try to avoid intolerant insults.

Metallica St. Anger

I'm sorry, but worse than Load and Reload, I believe the Metallica haven't produced anything musically. This album, as has been said, is repetitive and sonically leaves much to be desired (thanks to Bob Rock and Co. who insisted on processing it with computers to change certain effects of the instruments...) Songs like Frantic, St. Anger, and The Unnamed Feeling deserve at least to be listened to, but the Metallica of Kill 'Em All (the most violent), Ride the Lightning (my favorite), Master of Puppets (the best), And Justice for All (the most solemn, epic, and incredibly perfect), Metallica - Black Album (good, but the beginning of the end...) are a completely different story... Let’s see about the next one; the premises are good (some demos already listened to, a new producer - the same as Slayer - and a renewed interpretive, musical, and vocal flair). Let's hope they don't disappoint!! EMANUELE
