I fell for it too, at least up to my waist...
Led Zeppelin The Song Remains The Same (Remixed & Expanded)

I'm afraid I'll avoid it. The original already disappointed me enough when I bought it. The movie, however, is amazing, although the cuts the reviewer talks about are quite evident. It's not nice to see Jimmy Page doing a solo while his hand is still, and it's equally striking to hear Robert Plant's voice while you see him jumping without even the microphone...

I only remember something about them, some velvet morning is a great song.

In the sound, I find very little prog. The guitar parts are very bluesy, and the band that resembles them the most among those you mentioned is probably Coven.

great album. clapton back then was something phenomenal..

Soft Machine BBC sessions 67/71

a group that I can't fully appreciate, due to the songs that I find a bit too haphazard. surely the BBC sessions are the most beautiful live recordings I own (Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, Queen,…)

I listened to it but now I don't remember anything about the album, anyway great suggestion.
