Quella Vecchia Locanda Il tempo della gioia
Voto:
A uxo: the band was formed in 1970 in Rome, and in '72 they released an album (which you can find reviewed on this site by me) that is very beautiful. In '74 this record was released. The band dissolved (not due to the heat) shortly after, for reasons I can't explain.

I really think you’re mistaken, because the only two albums they made are: 'Quella vecchia locanda' from '72 and 'Il tempo della gioia' from '74. For complete information, I recommend visiting 'italianprog'.

this music, whether associated with the film or not, is absolutely stunning (just like the movie). the band is one of the best that the '70s scene had to offer.

Do you have this record in mind, Lord?

not exactly, because that old inn, compared to the Tull, used the violin a lot, which allowed it to create songs and atmospheres that were much more "classic-like". although I must say that in terms of flute, we're there (I mean in terms of sound).
