Ehm... I fully agree with the review, even though at the time of Perhaps (which contains perhaps the most beautiful and passionate piece by Billy, "The Best Of You," of which there is also a duet version with Annie Lennox), the good Alan Rankine had left... In any case, I recommend getting all the records by Furniture (whose stunning "Love Me" seems to have been written by Billy) and Scott Walker, two of the very few voices comparable to that of the late Billy, of which I also recommend the beautiful posthumous album "Beyond The Sun," almost entirely composed of simply brilliant, moving, and refined ballads.
