All this unconditional hate towards the group is caused by the out-of-context judgement typical of the kind of music that Dream Theater make; the fact that they have often been overrated means that they are compared to sacred monsters of prog and innovators of rock, when one should only recognize the value of their productions in relation to what the metal market has been producing in recent years.
