Meshuggah Contradictions Collapse

@senmayan: you are right, I also love the style of bands like Pantera, but copying the sound of Metallica and Megadeth (terrible) ten years late and without any noteworthy innovations is anachronistic and highlights the weaknesses of "certain" metal... I wanted to judge this album without considering the future evolutions of the band, and this debut, in my opinion, is absolutely not noteworthy. I completely agree on Reign in Blood, but I also prefer other Slayer tracks...

no, cpt 'ndo vai? come on, stay, you're one of the few who doesn't throw insults at me for merely having a differing opinion... By the way, you reviewed what I think is the best Maiden album with Dickinson, one of the few that I actually enjoy listening to from time to time.. Just to stir the pot a bit, I think the Maiden aren’t worth a tenth of Meshuggah (who are not derivative at all!). ah, make sure to send me your msn/space/blog contact as soon as possible.. regards ;-)

Monstrous album, in my opinion the best of the Swedes, even though I haven't heard Catch 33 yet... But is it true that they use a drum machine there?

I don't understand the bias against the Griffins, who are genius, even if in the Italian dubbing they lose a lot... (watch an episode of Family Guy, any from the latest season)

the final line regarding "Desolation Row" that sounds like a loud "fuck you" is exactly what Rolling Stone wrote about it...

I saw them at the idroscalo too, and from the height of their immense shamelessness, they didn’t play a single song from the latest but everything (!?!) Images And Words, just so the fans have a reason to go see them again when they come back after the summer...
