Well, I came back yesterday from London, thanks for the various jazz tips, what little I heard I liked a lot! As for them (the Meshuggah), I recommend you to steer clear if you’re not used to metal, as they can be deafening to most...
Neurosis The Eye Of Every Storm

Whenever a phenomenon is on everyone's lips, there's always an attempt to downplay it... By the way, the latest Neurosis, in my opinion, are much more inspired and profound than those from the nineties; if there's an overly long album, it's Trough Silver In Blood, simply excessive...

The Tool can also be listened to in a superficial way, as they don't seem particularly difficult or hard to digest... Undertow doesn’t seem to me to have anything striking; all the intentions mentioned have been explored in their following albums, in defiance of those who wanted them to be simpler. I would also say that the last one is fantastic, diving into all the details that made them great; without the last two albums, Tool would be regarded as good-but-nothing-more bands like Alice In Chains. The fact that they are also quite commercial is not a flaw for me, as the music aligns reasonably well with my concept of mainstream.

Let’s not exaggerate, this is an honest little piece of melodic rock! I’m not a huge fan of Radiohead, but to say that these guys are better than them is a stretch... I don’t see any particularities or at least uniqueness in their proposal (mind you, I have their discography on my PC...)

a pleasant and well-crafted review, I've never heard of the de-gruppo and prog-power gives me a stomach ache... If these are worse than Angra, Blind Guardian & co, who are already terribly flashy and kitschy, I'm really curious to listen to them...
