I totally agree with alessioIRIDE and cimbarello, even though my favorite guitarist is Fripp, who is expressive but also monstrously technical.

@Blackdog: I realized that I speak and do not write, I was referring to the subject.. why would I have passed on to a better life? I apologize for my blunt lack of insight.

James Hetfield as a singer is abominable, now as before! Go on YouTube and watch (listen to) the "new song" by Metallica, the vocal lines are something indescribable.
Queen Rock Montreal

The compositional skills of Queen don't seem extraordinary to me at all; the fact that they were irreverent and self-mocking masks a slavish adherence to the most mundane glam and stadium rock... Furthermore, the absolutely dismal mythologizing following the mustachioed one's death leads to the claim that Freddie had a divine or supernatural voice, when a mere technical judgment would immediately bring him down from the pedestal of myth. That he was an exceptional, charismatic, and histrionic frontman is absolutely undeniable.

if you narrow it down to hard rock in the top 20, then fine. otherwise, no. well, it’s not that important, to each their own, as always.

The drummer I like the most from Crimson is the one who plays on Lizards, I can't remember his name... The album seems interesting, great review.
