Thank you, I did it... I like the album, I've listened to it a couple of times while studying.
@giulia79: didn't mean to be, de-sorry :-)

I am among the few who have only heard a couple of their songs in total. As for PJ, nothing yet, except unconsciously. I'm getting curious.

I thank everyone for the feedback. The version of the album I have is the downloadable one, so I only mentioned Peter Gabriel and Peter Hammill because I recognized them. I apologize for not referencing Daryl Hall and the production assistance of Brian Eno (I should have done a bit more research). The adjective onomatopoeic is another of my blunders, as the title I have is "HARA COMES THE FLOOD," which seemed to me a strange play on the pronunciation of "here." Clarifications and insights about the album are very welcome; I discovered it not long ago and noticed that it was missing. A greeting to everyone.

I've also moved on to other things, but every now and then I listen to them again, and I don't find them so unpleasant. The discussion about expressiveness needs to be objectified according to the musical genre, and the dt seem to be a band that, at least in their early albums, played for the joy of playing. The result was a spacious and baroque music (images) and its dark and sometimes pathetic side, (awake) followed by numerous epigones of decreasing value. The problem, as mentioned above, is the excessive idolatry they enjoyed (but I would say right away, at this point) combined with one of the most obtuse and ignorant fan bases there are, who applaud every little thing. Nevertheless, I despise all prog metal; I occasionally put them on.

Lux has come to his senses! Look, demolishing one's past listens is not necessary; a reassessment is sufficient... And those comments about lacking expressiveness are stale platitudes and frankly, they represent a flawed perspective. If this were applied to other bands, the judgment would be even harsher. DT are a good progressive metal group, who have expressed themselves at high levels in the past and suck today; they get talked about more than they actually deserve...
