I saw it yesterday, and I was reasonably hooked at the beginning; the protagonist's struggle with madness and his search for reasons to carry on is well-crafted. However, the ending made me wonder if the film had finished (or if the budget ran out). It should have been made in two parts, or not made at all. A 2.5 rounded up like the reviewer.

I would give this album four, even five stars, as I see no signs of compositional fatigue whatsoever... The experimental tracks are inspired and well-structured, and the ballads showcase a remarkable melodic mastery... give it another listen.
