You're right about everything, and I'll tell you, he was also one of the authors in my high school Italian book ;-) These friends of yours haven't understood a thing.

detailed and very interesting analysis, it can only be rated five. what sense does it make to give a low score to this review based on its length? if someone hasn’t read the review because it’s long, they shouldn’t rate it. (it would be like rating an album I haven’t listened to because it's power metal)

I’m probably your age; I’m certainly not a seasoned forty-year-old. Discernment is something that one must learn to do at any age, especially considering that when you’re young, your brain is at its peak efficiency. If you’re in deep trouble, it may be that you get used to it and start to think it’s nice, but if you learn to swim in it, you might just find a handhold and get out. You just need to know that.

I saw it too last night, quite enjoyable and with a decent tension during the murder scene. I wasn't particularly fond of the general atmosphere and the unnecessary ending. However, I know that the critics unanimously panned it, showing excessive harshness towards Allen (but it's well known that Americans in general don't even get it).
