@trellheim: I read somewhere that the voice is sent at double speed in the studio to raise it a few octaves, so the vocalizations would often be out of our range... I've listened to the album a little and for now it doesn't seem bad, and it seems to improve with each listen. I actually liked the much-criticized Amputechture also for its excesses and various ramblings. It's one of the most fun albums I've come across lately...
