Black Sabbath The Dio Years
Voto:
The post-Ozzy Sabbaths are a good heavy metal band, perfectly in line with those of the period, but they are not Black Sabbath. The disorienting effect of Ozzy's voice and those crushing, slow, dirty riffs create 100 percent of the band's sound. The albums from Heaven and Hell onward are no longer sludge/doom; at times, they are fast, and the "heaviness" of the sound has disappeared. But it's not just the change in singer's fault; the band is changing as a whole. Unjudgeable review for a pointless compilation.

The Radiohead of the Pablo Honey/The Bends era is an innocuous chart pop group, with some nice melodies and a few good tracks, but it all stops there. A street spirit or a fake plastic trees are what Radiohead will become, but from a more simplistic perspective. Planet Telex, Just, or all those other vain guitar solos with adolescent vocals are the side of the band I prefer not to think about. Hail To The Thief features truly beautiful pieces, and the only filler I see is "scatterbrain," which, if it were on "the bends," would still stand out. I maintain that their best album is "amnesiac." As for the latter, I would say this is definitely a great example of pop-rock, with beautiful and refined tracks. @GrantNicholas: please explain to me the importance of an album like The Bends. No hard feelings, okay?

The review is undoubtedly interesting, but you say things I don't agree with (if there is no crumb of national pride in Italy, it's because it was established through deceit..) and you speak generally of an "artist" who, quoting Sgarbi, is a very great "recommended gay," perhaps the greatest.

The album costs €16.90 in almost every store, and I don't see that as a rip-off at all. It also contains beautiful melodies that captivate with their simplicity; it may not be an amnesiac (that one is their peak), but I don't think we can expect a great comeback from a band that has contributed so much to music like Radiohead. I also find Hail to the Thief splendid and a tad overrated is OK Computer. I don't understand those who say that The Bends is better than this; that's where there were truly no ideas...

I'm not in the mood for "depressing" things, but the review is nice as usual. Quantity and quality.

the best is "il brodo oltre la siepe". Nice review, I would have avoided the movie like the plague anyway..
