leave them be, I found that raw and unsoaked have an aftertaste of ham. not recommended.
@popoloitaliano: in the end, fighting aside, the juice is all there, the record flows like a pleasure.
McDonald And Giles McDonald And Giles
Voto:
McDonald's was a little genius; it's a real shame that Fripp disbanded the group again in '74 after the lineup once again included the talented multi-instrumentalist. I was completely unaware of the existence of the album, and if I find it in stores, I'll definitely get the original regardless. Really great review.
Rhapsody Legendary Tales

starblazer, look, the real posers are these guys... and anyway, if I really want to have fun with something cheesy, I put on Motley Crue or the early AC/DC, these guys give me hives.
Flagship Maiden Voyage

I know the Narnia and I don't like them at all, just like the influences you mention.. I won't take the risk.
Beautiful and smooth review.

@easycure: you’re right, and in the end, we always come back to the age-old issue of classifications and definitions.. ;-)
@maryg: why not? Ah, anyway I don’t know why in the review I ended up with this "unofficial" tone, I wrote it yesterday morning in a very relaxed atmosphere, after breakfast...

In thanking everyone for the comments, I immediately clarify what I meant by revolution. If evolution is not absorbed by the masses, or at least by a relatively broad niche, I believe we can only speak of a "conceptual revolution," which may be the result of a change in perspective in composition or even a complete upheaval; if I were to record an album of farts, I don’t think music, or the common way of thinking about it, would change in the slightest.
On the other hand, when talking about bands like the Pixies, I would say their insights have been widely absorbed, from grunge to today's indie. (Where, however, in general, more than the histrionics and brilliance, what remains is simplicity...)
Post-rock, however one wants to define it, has, in my opinion, not been a revolution, and has often turned inward.
