"that batman is not the superhero this city deserves, but the one it needs.. because harvey is what the city deserved, but not what it needed, so we chase batman because we deserve to need him.. two such assholes.. but weren't super problems a Marvel prerogative? the last batman, between seriousness, constipation (like that of the voice actor bruce wayne) and cheap "damnation" manages to put the patience of the viewer to the test."

I agree about the singer, but the rest of them really don't appeal to me. A band that was born old, and not because of the sound. The review goes down like a mug of ice-cold beer.

I’m going to listen right away. I’m giving it my five (which I know is an easy five, and I regret it here) :)

I don't even believe it's true that Matrix would be a great film without the action scenes and the fights. Cinematically, it's those that have made history, not the conceptuality of the plot or any kind of philosophical meaning.

bah. what is there to understand in the matrix, beyond the technological and philosophical curtain, the references to Descartes, Socrates, and Plato, the new age clichés? It is true that Inception is much more complex, although it is inferior to the matrix from an aesthetic and substantive point of view.

sci-fi metaphysical yes, also a bit 007 and with that intelligent blockbuster aura that for once didn’t annoy me. it’s very well shot, and manages to be compelling (despite a few hiccups) even though the script is twice the Bible and three times the Quran. nothing special on the content side, (the film is generally very ā€œnon-emotionalā€) but it’s a delight to watch, so who cares. I didn’t like The Dark Knight either, (which is very comforting, indeed) which is why my expectations for this one were very low.

here, I would like to say that the 3 is, was, and remains one colossal. very nice this, although I preferred the first one, which when it came out was actually jaw-dropping :)

Nice review, the album is great too. They'll probably do even better with Bad Moon Rising, but I enjoy this one more. Their Experimental Jetset isn't bad either, though it seems to be a bit of a letdown for everyone.

It’s mortally verbose, to the point that at certain moments it’s hard to believe. It’s not bad, but when it ends, there’s really very little left. From what I had read, I expected something different. In any case, I wonder if Ventura and Marini realized that their ultrakitsch cameo was there just to emphasize how grotesque and surreal the star system can be: that in the film was one of their typical TV nights...

@skeletron: it was my first online game, and I've grown quite fond of it. Yes, it's semi-deserted, but there's always someone (a few) hosting at any hour of the day, and your half-hour of frag is always guaranteed. And then it's just fun, you know. Compared to the old Unreal, it's much slower and more controller-friendly, but the result is still among the most chaotic on consoles. However, with various CoD and Killzone around, I’m not sure how appealing you might find a shooter without the now-standard rewards, levels, perks, etc. It's up to you :)
