Genesis The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway
Voto:
An extraordinary album for originality and creativity, but a notch below "Selling England By The Pound," which I consider the absolute masterpiece of the band. I do not agree with the negative judgments about the post-Gabriel era. As someone has already written, "A Trick of The Tail" and "Wind & Wuthering" are excellent albums, then it drops a little, but the class remains nonetheless. And finally, I don't disdain "Abacab" as much, which I find to be a very original album and a true break with the past. I think of great tracks like "Dodo/Lurker" or the title track itself. Honestly, I do not understand such severity towards "Abacab," which, in my opinion, deserves all three and a half stars.

I completely agree, evil!!! The album is wonderful and I could never get tired of listening to it! Guccini is in splendid shape here and you can really feel it!!
Robert Wyatt The End Of An Ear
Voto:
Great album by an immense musician. An extraordinary sensitivity. This was the first album I bought of Wyatt as a solo artist (excluding the Matching Mole stint, of course) and I was extremely satisfied at the first listen. And considering I got it for just 5 euros!!! :D Even better!! As you can see, you find me in perfect agreement on this, DaveJon! :D

And, last but not least, you consider yourself "above average".......and yet you're not arrogant??
Niccolò Fabi Sereno Ad Ovest
Voto:
No, you are not objective. You assume the right to "average" the users of this site that you don't even know. In my opinion, you are condescending, haughty, and arrogant.

But what the hell does it have to do with anything? I just wanted to tell you that even though I have tastes very similar to yours, I don’t act like a know-it-all like you do, thinking you possess the gift of absolute truth. But I guess with you, it's a lost battle...

What a poor, trivial irony...
Peter Gabriel Up

I didn't really like the review, but I loved the album from the very first listen. I have to wait at least five years for a new release from Peter, but at least every time I can say it was worth it!!
