I followed the trilogy trying to watch them one after the other (once in a while, Mediaset has a good idea), and my little sister enjoyed it :-) Many people who read the book strongly advised me against referring to the movie to grasp the messages conveyed by Tolkien. Therefore, I can only recommend that you refer to the director's messages, watch "Splatters - Gli schizzacervelli" (original title "Braindead")... I need to find the DVD!

By the way, Dana Scully from X-Files was Gillian Anderson, while the mom of our protagonist was Catherine O'Hara (the best site in the universe to use before saying certain nonsense is imdb!)

I used to enjoy this kind of movie as a child with my father (and still do today when they air them on that damned rete4). Since then, I’ve always loved them, so here's to "Terence Hill-Don Matteo" and a little less to "Bud Spencer-centrodestra candidate" ;-)
