By the way: Cofras made a correct observation regarding Formigoni, who I suppose dreams of one day receiving MrB's chair as a gift. But that guy won't give up, having even the Catholic Church on his side, which will ultimately know how to sweeten any kind of scandal despite the false appeals coming from the "holy see"... How sad.

Some time ago I read the title and I wanted to note it down, simply for my opinion regarding CL. @PDL: I enjoyed reading the review, but shouldn’t you have talked about the book? Yet, even though I haven’t read it, I can’t imagine you could possibly support certain arguments! Someone update me about the contents °_°

An excellent review, congratulations! What a story, still taken from a book, and what fantastic direction and character management. A high-value cast: a beautiful film in conclusion.

It seems clear to me what IL SICILIANO intends. I greatly admire the preparation—I'd almost say legal—of BARTLEBOOM; however, in my humble opinion, I don't know how much the influence of the Vatican has actually been reduced, both economically and ideologically (once again, I am reminded of how the "left," led by D'Alema, aligned itself against the re-nomination and re-election of Vendola in Puglia. Moreover, within the left itself, there are too many currents of thought on this matter. The "right," on the other hand, knows how to hide well on this issue, especially two figures, but I won't name names...). Finally, CONTINUITA IRA, I appreciate your distinction between being Christian and being Catholic, hoping it is intentional on your part, but I repeat once again that, even though I myself am Christian, the mistrust in a homosexual as the head or minister of a government is something I just don’t see the basis for. I truly regret having to express my opinion on this matter: using expressions like "promulgating laws from an uncivilized and socialist country" makes any citizen of a "state" intolerant, and I consider this a real shame because that person would not have grasped the very foundations upon which it should be based. P.S. NICOLA_LAIOSA, but the one about marriage between man and animal is just a joke, right? Jokes aside, as far as I know, civil marriage has nothing to do with church marriage; therefore, if asked to vote to recognize civil marriages between gay couples, I would vote yes, just as I would for adoptions by such a couple.

Wow, I must really be crazy then, since I already struggle to accept those lines drawn on globes to define the borders of each state °_° Sorry for my simpleton opinion, but it's so hard to admit that in Italy there is a tiny super-rich state that spans just a few square meters and that throughout history was able to influence the entire world, even committing mass massacres across entire continents!? In summary, if I really have to accept the existence of the concept of "state," it is delirious that this is ensnared by the high commands of a religious faith, whatever it may be! For me, the "state" is the union of individuals, free to have any religious belief or none at all. Of course, it remains that for the "state" to be the opposite of anarchy, it needs a constitution. And what if in the schools OF ANY CITY they thought about presenting some CHARACTER IN UNIFORM from the earliest age to introduce it?

Guys, calm down, calm down. @Continuity ira: the expression "lord(o)" seems to me appropriate as a joke between us, to the point that you yourself understood who I was talking about. On the other hand, I believe that certain gratuitous insults directed personally at users should be avoided; I say this for the sake of the dignity of this site, which was born for the exchange of opinions. I am talking about my hope for the growth of Nichi Vendola's figure as an example precisely for his style of communication, open to everyone. His homosexuality is an absolutely personal matter; it shouldn't matter to the voter or the Pope (.....). Rather, the voter should be concerned about the programs, proposals, and ideas put forward by those who aspire to be elected. I urge everyone: to what extent do you consider it appropriate to refer to today's politicians by talking about old movements like FASCISM vs COMMUNISM? Even counting the dead? Should we also include American-made LIBERALISM? And where does Putin fit in? Isn’t it simpler to consider the ideas of the movements that are presenting themselves in our elections today, but above all, to make an effort to honestly understand what they are proposing to us? As a free citizen, I approach the polls trying to know what I am getting into; then each person will know how to evaluate to whom they are giving "the reins of the game."

@Continuity ira: Assuming that I have of course also heard about Hitler and Mussolini in public school or have followed their deeds particularly closely "in private" (books, dossiers, films..), could you explain to me what you see as the evil in the rise of Vendola's figure? Should we rather hope for the ascent of Miss Berlusconi or perhaps Renzi, who goes to visit the lord in Arcore and changes allegiance "in the name of the good of our country"?

Honestly, I would be very interested in better understanding the comparison you made between Vendola and the Dutch Fortuyn (both homosexuals but politically they seem quite distant to me from what I've read..), as well as between Berlusconi and the American Hearst (both entrepreneurs).
I must preface my limited knowledge (unfortunately) of the topic "history of politics." Alas, I haven't had the opportunity to delve deeper, but it's always possible if prompted appropriately. In this regard, if when I studied Italian history as a child we only reached the First World War, there must have been some reason; we spent decades in class praising the Romans in my opinion excessively °_° P.S. I don’t hide a certain hope for the growth of Nichi Vendola's figure on a national level. I even named my kitten Nichi in his honor, as well as of course for Tesla :-D

For now, I only vote for the film. The last 10 minutes taken entirely from Moretti are almost terrifying!
