@Ogre: apart from the opinion on the film, I stand with you on everything else: it's too easy to blindly rely on pre-packaged answers; the religious sphere is one where dialogue should always be very vibrant and, above all, encouraged. Fortunately, parish priests and youth leaders are often very open to dialogue, as are the Jehovah's Witnesses I know (although getting them to budge a bit can be tough). I've also had the opportunity to speak with Muslims, which has borne fruit, as have obviously secular and atheist conversations... dialogue above all!! But excuse me for insisting, I really find this film to be nonsense! @Punisher: Life of Brian doesn’t deserve to be burned at the stake for me. In fact, I think it opens the door to other reflections in a rather thoughtful way. There are many references to real events and customs of Judea 2000 years ago, treated lightly but still brought to the viewer's attention. Definitely not a film recommended for First Communion children. :-)

Captain Gaio, I fully agree with you; what is meant or should be meant by the term "break"?

Were you just passing by or was it me?! :-) Alcatraz isn't that far from my place... and especially from the Politecnico, where I'll be resuming my studies in September. Anyway, MaTaCà, I've been trying to access your profile since yesterday but I just can't get it to work! I'll definitely be at the next concert of my dear Reginette!

But they deleted my comment!!! I was saying, lucky you for having gone, I couldn't find anyone to go with me........... even though I certainly wouldn't have handled all the chaos in person!!!!

If someone had taken me there, I would have come, alas!!!!! Even though I certainly wouldn't have been able to handle it, darn it...

Sensitivity is something anyone can have. And absolute truth belongs to no one. However, I find it nonsensical to mix the science fiction and the religious. If we really want to try, I would prefer it to be done in a more serious and profound way, not with little films of this kind. I am extremely fond of discussing countless themes, such as the figure of Jesus, the Apostles, Mary, atheism, and the other existing cults... I think there is always something for everyone to learn. On the contrary, I never understand the reasons of those who think there is nothing to learn and exempt themselves from it. Forgive me, but the personal experience that I carry with me every day will mark me forever, and whether you believe it or not, a dear friend of mine has always told me, "I believe in the sun god and sister moon"! :-D

I remain convinced that you can learn a lot from those who are more mature, from those who have already gone through certain experiences. Then, of course, the beauty lies in having to put oneself to the test. Alternative, puritanical, sacred, profane, different... these are adjectives that deserve reflection depending on the circumstance; I don't believe there can be a standard when it comes to judgment. And I don't think one has ever existed, in fact... I consider labels to be the beginning of the end.
