@19 Jack Daniel's: I actually would have seen Jonny Depp in this role, but out of great respect, he didn't want to overdo it (if I understood correctly, this was his choice, just like Jude Law). I forgot to mention two small notes earlier: 1. Colin Farrell has an excellent presence, he really made his mark; 2. LILY COLE HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE YOU?!

A really bare review, let's say that I was "eagerly waiting" for a discussion about the movie here, but I can't find a way to do that: 2 for excess. The film is entertaining overall, it jumps between dream and reality, certainly more could have been done but it wouldn't have been too easy, so I give it a 3 for deficiency.

Of course, I haven't read the book, I only vote for the presumed theses (dissolved Tachipirina); Wikipedia tells me that its publication dates back to exactly 1900 and that this book has always been considered a "classic" of female racism. Therefore, I would say not to be too surprised in front of certain nonsense, even today it’s not easy for all women to live equally; they are paid less and much more... (I think we all know certain things, right?). More than anything, I wonder: why was it published again? @VOODOOMILES comment 7: I would never miss a show like that :-P

Great movie that I’ve seen multiple times and it’s among my favorites. Information about it can be found everywhere online. I would have written the review differently (I’ve been meaning to do that for a while, darn it!). Moreover, I think there’s a small reference missing: the final photo of the girl’s friend? One really has to wonder who the crazy one is here...
