Stone Sour Come What(ever) May

Everyone has their own tastes, and anyway, I wrote the review myself; I don't copy others' because that wouldn't seem right! I only wrote what I thought, and for me, the album is beautiful!
Slipknot The Subliminal Verses

Slipknot are one of the biggest nu and alternative metal bands around, and their latest album is a hundred times better than the mess they played on "Iowa," because in "Vol.3" there’s real music with the keyword being "MELODY." They did very well to change direction because we’d had enough of growls and ear-splitting noise (senseless, Soulfly, Machine Head know how to break in that sense, not Slipknot). And let's remember that the hit from the self-titled "Slipknot" was indeed "Wait & Bleed," the most melodic song on the album, while in "Iowa," the best tracks were "Left Behind" and "My Plague," which were also more melodic. And let’s face it, in "Iowa" the 'knot wanted to imitate and rip off all the thrash and death that exists (Slayer above all, then Morbid Angel, Deicide, and whoever else you want to name) to shake off the nu-metal label, but fortunately, they didn’t succeed, and they understood to get back on track with "Vol.3," great!
