Korn Mtv Unplugged

A widely shared and well-structured review, even though there were already two, including mine! Great live.

A review that gets lost in chitchat in many places: just describe the album and that's it, by now we all know everything about Metallica (for example, the stories of the double album, the lowered retina, and justice is technical, they kicked out Mustaine)! The album is a decent heavy rock record that abandons the thrash metal of their early days to later (the two Load albums) transition into catchy rock/hard rock! Although there are some convincing flashes (Of Wolf And Man, Holier Than Thou), it's not a fundamental album, neither for metal nor for rock! Even though there are good compositions like Nothing Else Matters, Sad But True, and Wherever I May Roam!

Bah, an overrated album and a review from nostalgic fans who believe Guns are metal!

Anyway, PeroScaruffi's comment is a load of crap! Come on, Tony Iommi is an expression of "technical mediocrity"? Please, one of the best, if not the best heavy metal guitarist!

Beautiful review! There can never be too many for a masterpiece like this! The same goes for the self-titled debut! CAN YOU HELP ME?

I completely disagree with the review, perhaps because it is totally different from mine; however, the fact remains that the review states something I consider to be completely wrong: there are songs that should be played unplugged and others that shouldn't! What principle is this statement based on? The purpose and beauty of the unplugged session, especially for rock bands, is precisely to transform the "heavy" original versions into "melodic," catchier, and more emotional versions, and the Korn have succeeded, presenting an acoustic concert that is convincing, original with the accompanying instruments, and showcases new arrangements of the songs that can be listened to very pleasantly, even and especially in the successful covers, like "Creep" by Radiohead reinterpreted by a masterful Jonathan Davis and the intertwining of "In Between Days" and the Korn song "Make Me Bad" featuring The Cure, not to mention the great versions of "Love Song," "Got The Life," "Hollow Life," "Falling Away From Me," and others, enriched by the invaluable and fundamental contribution behind the keys of Zac Baird, a skilled keyboardist collaborating with the band both on the road and in the studio! I look forward to a good new album to uplift the fortunes and popularity of the underrated Korn, a group that has always made evolution, innovation, and change their watchwords!

I've listened to it a ton, mick7, even 2 or 3 times every day! Lately, less so, but it's a GREAT album! With balls as big as those of Zakk!

Rece very serious and reasonable, okay! I've always liked Trent as a composer.

Hey beautiful, the album is well made but I'm not really a fan of Pearl Jam even though they truly appeal to everyone (rockers, grungers, and metallers)!
