An album should be appreciated in its entirety and not just for a badass bass intro, which is original but not Maiden style. The Maiden style mostly features tracks from a standard album; take "Piece of Mind" for example, the typical metal bass that mostly follows the guitar lines... and I'm talking about "Piece..." which is the band's most classic album, where all the ingredients of a standard Maiden album are present. They remain a great band despite nonsense like this, where only two (or at most three with "Lord Of Flies") songs stand out, but overall it's trivial and mediocre...

I don't know exactly when it comes out...but you can easily download it on eMule...and anyway, for me, Korn are great in every way, whether they do simple nu metal (the first 4 albums and "Take A Look In The Mirror") or when they experiment with risky but brave choices ("Untouchables" and "See You On The Other Side"). Anyway, sorry for that "it's half"...I'm ignorant! But what's wrong with "Korn: MTV Unplugged"? That's what the album will be called!

Let me explain something to you... dear kilgod... in the 90s, a time that was very difficult for heavy rock (or metal, as you prefer), legendary bands like Metallica caught the scent of money and sold even their grandmother's underwear... to give a jolt or awakening, whichever you prefer, it was the innovations, the new things that did it, certainly not the Maiden from "The X Factor," which I even reviewed... in other words, not only Korn with their metal crossover, but also Rage Against The Machine, somehow Nirvana (even if we're stepping into other fields), Machine Head, Soulfly, and I even include Marilyn Manson who exploded in the 90s, and then the whole parade of nu metal with Slipknot, System Of A Down, Deftones, Incubus, etc...

I don't know if you're joking or what? Instead... let's talk about serious things... did you download anything from them? If so, what do you think... I still can't understand why I've gotten so into them... I actually prefer them to Slipknot now...

Sorry, can you explain what "the voice that fits Harris" means? We're talking about Blaze Bayley, the biggest idiot Harris could choose, but I repeat, it’s not his fault; he just wasn't right for Maiden, period! I read that they were willing to consider not only Dickinson's replacement but also Belladonna from Anthrax and Michael Kiske from Helloween, and just because they’re not English, who does Harris choose? The first idiot who comes from none other than... Wolfsbane! But who the hell has ever heard of Wolfsbane... let’s admit it. At that time, Maiden were in a mess; they were missing two important members like Dickinson and Smith, and the only decent one on the album is the indestructible Dave Murray. Here, Nicko and Janick also make a huge blunder, not to mention Harris, who looks completely lost and seems like he played the bass with his ass... come on! The bass on "The Number Of The Beast" is a TOP BASS! I say the same about the latest works that brought Maiden back to the top since "Brave New World."

I wasn't there, but I bet they were as scary as you say, Maiden are like wine, the older they get, the better they are...

Good review, I gave it a 4 just because you touched upon the Korn at the end. "Follow The Leader" isn’t the best (I’d give it 3 out of 5) but it’s not "TERRIBLE" as you wrote! Otherwise, I would have given you a 5! It's well made, and we're talking about Soulfly... great album... a step below the first (unbeatable) but still great...
Limp Bizkit The Unquestionable Truth Pt. I

Think what you want....for me, Bizkit remain a band that started with decent rap-metal with their first album...they sold out and oversold themselves with crap like "Significant.." and "Chocolate..." and in my opinion, they regained a (few) points with "Results May Vary" and this "The Unquestionable..."... period! I write whatever the hell I want in my reviews...I can even say that Durst sings in death metal if I want to! (but I would never write that to avoid offending that great genre which is death metal)
