Iron Maiden The Number Of The Beast
Voto:
It's a magical and unrepeatable album; Iron Maiden are legends and living history, so the 5 rating is unquestionable! The review could also be 5, but it doesn't fully convince me, and comparisons with Iron Maiden shouldn't be made, especially not with Nightwish, so I give it a 4.

Thank you... I liked Mickey Mouse a lot when I was little!
And anyway, it's true, poor Sadists...

Sorry guys, but I could afford the stands. The grass costs more and you could see and hear perfectly from there. Plus I have to spend for Gods pt II, the Route To Hell in Caserta, damn it! I'm not a billionaire.

Good review even if I don't fully agree with it... a well-made album but definitely the first of a long series of disappointments...

I didn't see those flags, but I was in the stands and so I think it's obvious. Anyway, it’s known that the Maiden are not right-wing; Dickinson must have said it a thousand times in interviews, and that pleases me more than anything. However, politics and music should only come together on certain occasions.

True true, after that Flippaut festival has now become a second-rate event... what can I do? When I have time, I try to see all my favorite bands before I turn into a 30/40-year-old fool who has forgotten all about rock n roll and starts thinking about his wife, kids, and crappy job... right? And anyway, this Flippaut, with the wisdom of today (June 21), was far less impactful and badass than yesterday (June 20), the best concert of my life with Maiden, Motorhead, and Machine Head all in one day! WE ROCK!

Well, I don’t think the classics are just The Trooper, Fear, and Number… I mean, Wrathchild, Hallowed Be Thy Name, Run To The Hills, and Iron Maiden, what are they? Recent production just thrown in there?
The only mistake in the setlist was not adding at least one piece from the latest albums (like Paschendale instead of "These Colours" or "Brave New World" instead of "Brighter Than A Thousand Suns", and then it would be better to get "Heaven Can Wait" back in the repertoire… it's about time! Anyway, I repeat, as I said in the review, they really nailed it for me, and since I’m going to replicate tomorrow in Rome also because Machine Head is there, I hope they play just as well or better... and then on the 30th we’ll have to see what Ozzy can still do live at Gods and the pairing of Korn/Jordison... well, I’ll let you know in other reports…

Where is all this melodic rock? That is alternative rock with a bit of electronics and a dark vibe...a disappointment without a doubt.
