The review deserves a lower rating for how the band is treated, but in the end, it’s written very well. LAM are an excellent band that has managed to breathe new life into the genre. As for the album, I also prefer "Selected Scenes From The End Of The World." It has great moments and others that are less impressive. It remains a good piece of work.

The introduction that aims for snob appeal is truly depressing. But at least it confirms the fact that there’s always someone more stupid than me (hurray for understatement!) willing to listen to stuff like this. In my opinion, Celentano and his crew are overrated. Fortunately, Italian pop(ular) culture thrives on local and traditional realities of undeniable significance. You wanted the 1s? I'm not giving them to you. For the sake of snob appeal, of course.

Not to be nitpicky, but the rating for the review is meant for the reviewer. The one for the record, specifically for the album and the artist. I actually explained myself poorly anyway: you can freely give a 1 to whoever you want if they wrote poorly (in a broad sense) their review.

Dave, you still give 1s to reviews of stuff you don't like. This one isn't poorly written, even if the subject matter is irritating. It would be better to not rate the review but just the album. Even though I logically haven't listened to it, I'm sure it's a 1.
