@madcat: I completely agree. Literature with a capital L. And creativity, the fantasy of improperly twisting a language, breaking its rules to rewrite new ones. There’s a whirlwind of neologisms. It’s just too beautiful. But I can’t bring myself to reread it. It’s the bitterness of someone who knows they are about to die. It’s too uplifting; it’s good to know this masterpiece. But it hurts.

It's pointless to vote on the work. The review is excellent in terms of participation. However, it lacks some things. I still find myself crying every time Pompeo crosses my mind. Read it once and never again. It hurts too much.
