@Geb: when do we meet in person? After Carver and so many other things, I believe the time has come. And I'm not voting on this review (I would be tempted to give it the highest score too) because honestly, I've never read madcat. At least I think so. But now I'm going to take a look, and if the premises hold up, I'll happily follow it.

Thanks to the wanderers. Ah Geb. I've spent almost 30 years indulging while achieving results. Since I stopped, everything has gotten worse. I don't have much to share about the last 3. And I can't wait to start moving again. Especially because you discover a lot of music.

Funny but not judgmental :)

Honest album but nothing more. The previous ones, however, I carry on my back, preferring them even to the Scorpions. I have rarely gotten "attached" to German hard rock bands, but for Bonfire and Vamp (relentless hard sleaze, unjustly never properly promoted) it was different. Do you know Vamp? Just one album, "The Rich Don't Rock," which I'll almost propose to you soon.
Ah, the review. It's honest too, but at a certain point, there are 4 lines without a period that, despite the ";", leave little breath for the gray matter. Just like in the last paragraph. But do as you say, that's better :)

In the wake of what has already been read in 26,000 out of 26,231 reviews, you. In the wake of On The Corner, he, who hasn’t revealed anything at all.

Ah. I got it. You're feeling bitter because out of 33 reviews between jazz and classical, you never got a heart. Imagine that, they give one to a rocker on his 72nd review, no less, in a genre where you consider yourself a professor. Suggestions: avoid using words like fascinating and great too often, refrain from opening Kind Of Blue with those horrifying phrases. Don't say that Miles Smiles is Davis's second best while forgetting everything he did in the latter part of his career. Also, don’t give 5 to Sorcerer, otherwise, what’s Kind worth? Avoid writing if you want to be credible. Postscript before bedtime.

So. I’ll start by saying that I’m closing here; I hope to be clear and precise, because I don’t like critical keyboard warriors. You tell me that my review sucks, but maybe the writing could work. I reply that I think your writings suck too, along with your pedantic reviews filled with clichés, "thanks for nothing" adjectives, and "so what?" endings. The booklet of the most recent reissue of Sorcerer doesn’t consider it a masterpiece or a work of primary importance. I find it simply very well-played, but not worthy of the fresher Davis. Davis, who in my house has been listened to since the days of my grandfather. Fortunately, there’s freedom of writing, and since it hasn’t been discarded, there must be a reason for that. My listens on MD are attentive, daily, routine in the true sense of the word. I don’t appreciate that the first person passing by comes to tell me I haven’t listened to Sorcerer properly. From what you write, I deduce that you were showing off to a girl and succeeded with that album in the background, and so you got pumped up. Regarding the Coltrane album in question, I believe it cannot be dismissed with a comment like your first one. The first track is one of his interpretations universally recognized as top-notch. Finally, on Debaser, reviews are written on various musical genres and of various types. If all were linear and filled with clichés (here we go again) like yours, rest assured that the site would be done for. Or, at most, this review will have made just as many people want to listen to it as Sorcerer. Because there’s no poetry or writing just for the sake of it in here. There’s a point of view that has a deep gaze on the consequences of music. Music about which (see my mentions of Getz or Jobim/Mann) I’ve never claimed to know how to talk. In the last line of this, for heaven's sake, I ask for the opinion of experts: I got yours. Fair enough. Even though I’m deeply convinced that this page works light-years better than yours. I don’t apologize for my bluntness with you (better to write clearly, as you rightly did), and I apologize for the impolite terms I’ve used with everyone. But that’s part of my not holding back. Regards. P.S. - any typos are due to the touchscreen monitor that’s acting up tonight. I often fall into the mistakes I criticize in others. Sorcerer, to close, you listened to in a half-assed way.
