Lùnapop ...Squérez?

I don't like it... but I have to say that 50special, listened to the first 2 times, is really nice... then from the third time... well... anyway, I'd give it a 1/5 at least for those poor technicians who worked on it.

I started to appreciate it by listening to it in the car!

Radiohead Hail To The Thief

Danieleerpiccoletto, you say something right, but how long have you been following Radiohead? I got to know them through the single Creep before it bombarded us, and the Radiohead I like are the ones from The Bends (the most beautiful song by R. is Fake Plastic Trees). It's logical that when they release something that changes their sound, some fans are left unsatisfied. Of course, I love Kid A, but to go back to saying "oh, these are the Radiohead I like," it will take a few more releases. For example, I adored the U2 from their early works and The Joshua Tree... then poof... they stopped thrilling me. Why? Because something changed, but I’m sure a record will come out that will make me love them again... anyway... I'm getting tangled up... if you've been following a band for years, it doesn't mean you have to embrace their changes, and damn, I'm rambling too much… Anyway, long live Radiohead ;-) if only we had more bands like that...
p.s. for Tabba... come on, don't say that... R. know what they're doing.

P.P.S: 2 + 2 = 5 reminds me of a piece by the legendary FUGAZI.. But I can't remember the title!

Bravo Franz...you've hit the right note...like you, I'm on my 50th listen and this album, while well-crafted, doesn’t excite me...maybe I was expecting something shocking too, but deep down, it doesn’t move me...maybe I'm too old for all this electronic stuff, but Radiohead (I've followed them since their first CD...creep docet) have the qualities to deliver a more impactful or, better yet, a more revolutionary work.
In short, Hail to the Thief is nothing but a halfway point between OK Computer and Amnesiac, which I still like, but it doesn't thrill me like some of their other works.
P.S. I may be sacrilegious, but for me, their best album is The Bends...OK Computer has worn thin.
Ciao a tutti.
Metallica St. Anger

Hey boys, I've been hanging out on de-baser for quite a while now, but I've never shared my thoughts... this review intrigued me and so here I am writing... I got the album (with DVD... they don’t know what else to invent against piracy... at €16.90) I've been following metal for 13-14 years and I don't really like re/load... but... but St. Anger is a good album... powerful... in the style of Garage Days Revisited... I think Cliff’s rating is more than sincere... bye... I’m going back to work!
