I really liked this album; I don't think it's a coincidence that both Floyd and Queen (without Mercury) chose similar sounds for their last albums (by similar, I don't mean the same), and I'm surprised you don't appreciate this album since you speak well of Division Bell (rightly so).

But how awful is the cover of Enjoy the Silence? I mean the instrumental part isn't bad, but the singer's voice is horrible, off-key, and out of time. Lacuna Coil please tell your singer to fuck off and you’ll be better off… trust me.

Great album, not the best from the duo but definitely a very good album, Two divided by zero is the best song on the record, while Suburbia I've never really liked.

Valeria, your review isn’t bad, but you give me the impression that you’ve only recently discovered the Modes because you can’t celebrate an album like Playing the Angel with top marks. For old-school fans, this album has been perceived as a recycling of the band (just as Madonna did with Confessions...). My thought is that by now, they’ve said what they needed to say, and now ideas seem to be running low.
