I also confirm the saturation of creativity in this genre; the cliché is always the same: a group of survivors trying to escape from ravenous zombies. Even "Land of the Dead" reminded me closely of "Escape from New York," not to mention "House of Death," which is a colossal piece of crap. However, there’s an old Italian film called "Zombie Holocaust" that combines zombies with aboriginal rituals. In fact, the undead are said to have originated in Africa based on voodoo beliefs.

And who ever compared 28 Days Later to the three Resident Evil movies? I simply said that both suck, comparison or no comparison. Anyway, I liked the original version of this film, not the remake. I stand by my rating.
