Nice review; I agree that it’s important to be a bit encyclopedic to really convey which music moves us... it’s an issue I’ve faced as well in my reviews (another genre would make you sick...). Keep it up even though I don’t agree about the creativity in modern music: maybe it has just shifted genres...

Korn absolutely make Metal!!!! Nu-Metal is Metal. It is part of Post Metal, the Metal that blends classic spirit with modern influences. That said, Korn sucked back when they released their first album and they still suck now; songs without structure, stupid riffs, poor originality, they were just living off the singer before he became a parody of himself.

Well, given the proliferation of comments, it's no surprise that reviews of the same album keep being written... anyway, Iron Maiden haven't been the guiding star of heavy metal for at least 15 years... musicians respect them, magazines adore them because it gives them someone to put on the front page, and the average reader has already noticed that it's a shame not to retire when one's potential has already been expressed...
