mmmm...I read all your comments on other reviews looking for a reason to trash this one. But I happily noticed that you're an intelligent and tolerant person...the review is nice and leaves room for a stylistic description of the tracks, so there’s nothing to be scandalized about. I don’t vote for the review because it seems too personal to truly understand it...the album, however, I have, and it's fantastic. I hope you’ll be just as tolerant in the future when I write a beautiful emotional review of one of those black metal bands that you hate so much...

And the idiot guitarist of the Backyard Babies (I think that's what they're called) talking about the Scandinavian metal scene he was part of said: "I prefer Kiss to those who dress like them."

Thank you all. @ aniel: I wanted to give more space to Dead than to Euroymous because, despite his quirks, he was a more human character, perhaps less "genius" than Vikernes or Arseth but undoubtedly more genuine. For this reason, he was respected by everyone in the scene, which is extremely rare.

The review is excellent, especially the references between the texts and street life, the band and its humble origins; it’s even better than the other two on the site. If it weren’t such an immense effort, I would tell you to review all the albums!!

Yes, if you Google the title (which I must have written incorrectly) Rehearsal Norway 1990, you'll find some stores that sell it; I think I bought it on blackmetaldvd.com. The quality is terrible, especially the video (the cameraman is very drunk) but the sound is good. If you love the band, look for it, it's not too expensive. Thanks.

Well, I will write. I also listened to more traditional black, the Norwegian one from the first generation...but then when I explored that period, I was a bit disappointed by the side scenes (Finnish, French) and I am listening to depressive bands or where black remains as a background atmosphere or ideological (drone-black, doom-black, funeral doom, dark ambient)...

But no, on the contrary, the one from Strapping was really well done, as was "Golem"; black metal isn't loved because it's a genre that divides a lot, and the people who review it only talk about genius, spirals of pain, blood for Satan (a theme alas present in my early dures as well). In a few days, I will review an album I ordered, Krieg The Black House; I intend to review the early works of Xasthur and Ligfaerd by Nortt, but the people who hang around the site make me lose the will to do so. Bye.
