@ metallaro bionco: aside from the irony about objectivity, a trait that, according to what others say, I seem to possess, I don’t believe that all extreme metal bands are genius; usually, however, we tend to review those that have particularly impressed us or the best ones, which sometimes, it’s true, are "beautified" by our passion; in most cases, though, aside from commercial black bands, a score of 5 can objectively be lowered to a 4 by the reader, but giving a 1 on trust goes against the spirit of the site, which is to read reviews to get recommendations... but you do you...

Well, then you'll like the reviews I'll be publishing soon... Xasthur, Krieg, nachtmystium, Lurker of Chalice... forget about France and Finland!

No, but I didn't say that Dimmu at some point thought about selling out or dressing like Cradle... I emphasized the evolutionary parallel between the two bands... from the stars to the stables... then if you like Spiritual that's one thing... in my opinion, Dimmu have never been original in their appearance... much less so than Cradle... which is perhaps a good thing...

I don't really know them... remember that you are the reviewer and you shouldn't rate based on the audience's response but on your expertise; you are the expert... some comparisons with more current bands than Bathory wouldn't hurt...

For me, the best is For alltid, which is a bit like the Principle of Evil Made Flesh by Dimmu Borgir; from there on, the two bands lost themselves in the personas of their singers, a talentless little man and a charisma-less dark.

In a way; I like Nortt because while musically it’s very doom, it has a desperate and "dark" attitude (I can't think of a better term) that is very black metal. I only have one funeral doom record, ...of dust by My Shamefull, which I found a bit repetitive but still valid. I’ve seen that here doom is popular, but Nortt is snubbed if not outright condemned (death penalty to Tepes); I don't like the character but I find the music superb. Unfortunately, finding his records is a mission. I will review it one day. Thanks fallen.
